What has been written on digital, finally has materialised!
At first I was actually thinking of getting all printed, thinking that B5 should actually be smaller than A5, boy, totally my bad! haha... little did I know B5 is actually bigger than A5....
And when you put it side by side (from testing 2 different print services), it looked so awkward! B5 is actually more for textbook or coursework material, while A5 would actually look more suitable for a reading material..
Thank goodness, these were trial print outs while I pick the best print service provider!
I also had friends helping me to decide when I showed them the test materials, and they were very kind to give me honest truth. My friend who wrote the foreword find the 13pt-14pt easier to read, thus we decided to keep it that way.
And finally, I think I got one that prints very high quality for the partly coloured pages, but their BW version is a little grainy for the images.
So I am just going to test another BW print from another printer from the South side of Peninsular, and I am waiting for that sample to come before I decide to officially appoint different printer providers.
Because I am not planning to sell it for profit, printing smaller batches helped me to save shipping fee and the printer supplier will have more time to make sure every book is done nicely.
True enough, there were already small batch of orders coming in, and as promised in the selling platform, these pre-world-ebook-lauch will be special one with personalised encouraging messages and signature.
One of my (lab-rat 😂 as she termed it) friends also suggested an even smaller version, but since it is for bigger print, printing in such a small-sized book would have defeated the purpose, and this is a hardcover version which is quite pricy.
Even though I don't intend to profit much (actually so far it is about $0.25 a book after deducting capital, service fee and taxes from sales) I wouldn't want to charge anyone too high of a rate because I want simple folks to get hold on the book without too much of a burden.

I am looking into launching full versions of Google Playbook, Apple Books (if I can re-secure my dormant apple ID), Rakuten (thanks to @caelum1infernum 's suggestion) once the 90day Amazon prime access lock is relieved in September...
I will try to figure out how I can provide vouchers when anyone pays via HBD here on #hive and allow them to access according to the app they have (G Books, A Books). I couldn't do that for Amazon anymore because when I was testing with my alternate Amazon account which I planned to purchase books from US was abruptly cancelled (along with my purchased ebooks) just because I used a Crypto Credit Card. 😟

Also, unfortunately, I can only sell the physical copy in Malaysia due to logistic fees. Otherwise it will cost a bomb.

But that raffle will be drawn after world e-book launch day.

Overall, this is such a wild ride journey as I continue to make time and tune @the3rdcord book with the second author (who is currently away and unreachable for a good few weeks); but I think this is a good steep learning curve for me to understand all the hurdles of a hustler: from tax filing (next year) to calculating costs—even though this could just be a loss; but a ministry that has placed on my hand to understand the workings with an encouraging content for readers young & old. 😊

In the mean time, US, UK and EU readers could still get a copy in a greatly discounted price (I am not earning anything at all on the paper version apparently because it was the lowest price 🤨) until September, and please feel free to acquire if you are interested.
