Hello plant-based foodies, wherever you are in the world and/or galaxy!
Here @sirenahippie
Today we continue the series THE VEGAN SCHOOL, which consists of posts aimed at offering useful information for publishing and interacting, both inside and outside the Plant Power (Vegan) community. Today we bring you Lesson Three, referring to the IMPORTANCE OF THE INTRODUCTORY POST.

Hive is a decentralized blockchain, which beyond being a publishing platform, is a very complex and productive ecosystem—I'd say wonderful. When new users join Hive, with the primary intention of publishing content, the ideal is for them to create an introductory post, where they make a formal presentation on the platform. This is what we mean by an INTRODUCTORY POST.

An INTRODUCTORY POST is a very important post to start the journey on Hive, as it allows other users, curators, whales, administrators, moderators, and community owners to know who is joining Hive; therefore, it is a post that should be made with care and attention, providing basic information about the user.

When we refer to BASIC INFORMATION, we are NOT talking about your full name, date of birth, your identification number (DNI, National Identity Card, Social Security, Passport, etc.), nor your exact address or personal contact number; not at all, and we believe that this specific information should be kept private. We are referring to your first and last name, the country and city where you live, your academic level, your profession or job, your interests and hobbies; as well as the topics you will address over time on your blog. It is also important to know how you found out about the platform, who introduced you to it, and how you got into Hive.

Why is this data important? Because it allows us to get to know you, and it validates you within the ecosystem and among your peers. This way, we know you're not a fake, that you're not impersonating someone, that you're not farming (the latter is relative...). Also, in this post, it's essential that you include photos of yourself, where your face is visible.

We know there's a right to privacy, that's unquestionable and absolutely respectable; but if you wish to publish in this community, or in the Foodies Bee Hive and Amazing Drinks communities, you must have your introductory post on your blog with the specifications outlined here. Why is this? Because I manage all three communities, and I expect users who publish in them to abide by the rules and expectations of these communities.

When publishing your introductory post, you can choose any community you feel strongly about. If you've already published other posts, but haven't yet your introductory post, it's not too late to do so. It's also recommended that you use hashtags like #introduceyourself

This concludes LESSON THREE of our VEGAN SCHOOL. We hope this information is useful, that you read it carefully, and that you apply it when creating content on Hive
