RE: Stamps! Stamps! Stamps! (Franz Josip and Austria-Hungary, Weimar, Bayern, Danzig)

in Hive Collectors6 days ago

I've known several stamp collectors throughout my life. There were some in my family many years ago, and I'd never heard of the perforations you mentioned. That's very interesting, and obviously, as you rightly point out, it elevates the status of the piece and makes it attractive to collectors. I really liked the album you have; it's very well-maintained, just like your collections. You certainly know your stuff, because I enjoyed reading it from beginning to end. You also took some great photos of the stamps. A pleasure to meet you through your post 🙌😀💛... You Absolutely Rock!!! 👍😎🔥📸❤️

I just started it this year. (Tho I was collecting stamps in my teen years -- but it was long long ago). Will see, if I maintain it well or not. But I am wasting a good money into this silly pleasure. After all, it is just old and crusty little useless pieces of dirty inked papers. It's only our crazy collective belief and market supply that gives them value, right? lolz. !BEER
