The Danzig stamps are really pretty, a little expensive but nice. The Peruvian stamp is also a real beauty. I love to collect Peruvian coins for the same reason, just great designs. That's a great bunch of stamps!

NB - everything becomes slightly (or even not so slightly, ahah) expensive when it passes 3, 5 or even more dealers / intermediary. Yesterday I stick to ebay listings of old Austrian stamps... when I saw the prices - and the grade of rarity of the stuff - I went crazy. Naturally, the most shabby of the stamps that are being sold on eBay for $5-10 a dozen - here in Russia, collectors want to sell them for price tags of 2 and even 3 times more! The law of supply and demand works, I guess. It's just that here, in a country separately fenced off by a new iron curtain, there are far fewer offers - and therefore those that exist can shamelessly inflate the price to the skies. I am full of sadness ... I open my wallet and pay knowing that this is not an investment, I am simply throwing away money - for the sake of getting little personal pleasures. Amen.
