Things happen and real life is more important. I think it would be fine to respond to comments after you realized it. It's too bad to hear about your son having issues, but I find it weird to get kicked off for being too young.

        They finally wrote back to me to explain the situation. They couldn't find coaches and so they are stuck with too many players and they had to get rid of some of them...
