We were created by the Word of God. The Word of God is our life. The Word of God is our source. We are the offspring of the Word. The Bible says that we are begotten again not of corruptible seed but of in corruptible which is the Word of God that abided forever.
1 Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
The Word of God is our life. The Lord Jesus Christ said that the words which he speaks unto us are spirits and live. That means that the Word of God has a quickening power. It can give life to those who daily feed on it.
John 6:63 (KJV) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Studying the word of God is what a true believer must do committedly. We must not keep to far from our Bible. That is what assures of eternal life. We must read the Bible daily. In as much as you are feeding your body, you must feed your spirit also. The word of God is our spiritual food. Without reading and studying it regularly, we will not be able to perform the will of God.
John 5:39 (KJV) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
