Good morning, brethren. It's a happy morning and a glorious one. This is the day that the Lord has made and we will be glad and rejoice in it. What a blessing we have from our Father in heaven when we see a new day. We have been taught from the scriptures that God visits us every morning. Have you noticed someone who did not wake up in the morning? It is because God did not wake him up. We would not see another day if God does not wake us up.
We have been accustomed to praying every morning when we wake up. We pray to God for giving us life for the new day. We pray and worship God because for the gift of life and all the beautiful things which He has given us for life.
Also we pray and commit our day into His hands. We pray because we cannot handle matters of life by ourselves alone. We need the help of God. We pray and ask for the help of God to achieve what we want to achieve in life.
Someone asked: Can we only pray and that will be enough to make us closer to God? Or are there other things which are required of us to do so that our prayers can give us the desired results? Yes, there are quite a lot of things that a christian should do to have a living faith. We have heard that some faiths are dead. When faith is not backed up with work, it will be a dead faith.
