It is not all just about food. We do not just eat. Life is not just about food. We eat to live, not to die. So, the main factor is life. So what sustains our life is not only food. Remember that the Bible says that we shall not live by bread alone. There are other things that we must consider while we are eating. There are other things which we can do for ourselves. We do not just eat food.

When the Bible says that we are not to live by bread alone, it tells us that we are to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We must study the Word of God daily. That is equally important for our health just like physical food. In fact the Word of God profits much more than ordinary food.

Another thing that is very important for our health is fasting. Fasting is a good thing for our body. Fasting helps in detoxifying our body. It strengthens our spirit. When you are spiritually healthy, you will have good health. Sometimes, infirmities are spiritual. They capture the soul before afflicting the body. Let us learn to fast also.
