It is often said that the choices we make today determine how our tomorrow would be like. When we live our lives in a way that shows a good example to people around us we will benefiting from it at the long run. When tomorrow comes we won't regret from doing so. But if we do things the other way, there's also a predictable reward awaiting us.
The present we are living today in one way or the other is all as a result of how we lived our lives in the past. There are some things that are not by accident or by chance. Some people are fond of the statement which says come what may. Every occurrence have a driving force behind it.
Matthew 13:7 - "And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them."
This parables is more than just a farmer and him sowing a seed. But one thing we learn about planting is that whatever we sow we are likely to reap of it in the future when it reaches maturity. We shouldn't be careless of our now because it would surely have consequences in the future; good or bad.
