As humans there's a limit to which our human capacity is restricted to. On our own we don't have the ability of knowing the future. It takes a supernatural ability to be able to harness such information. Only God knows the ability to know what the future looks like. He's the one who is the master of time.
Even the devil does not know what the future is going to be like exactly because if he did he wouldn't have allowed Christ to be crucified because Christ was the redemption of mankind and the last thing that the devil wanted to happen was that mankind should be saved. But through the word of God we are able to have insight of what the future is to be like.
The Bible is more than just a book of stories that we read, it is a book of prophecies. A lot of things that is happening now were prophesied in the Bible. Even some past events before they came to occurrence were earlier on prophesied about. Just like the birth of Jesus Christ which was revealed to Prophets like Isaiah and John the Baptist.
It is important for we Christians to be knowledgeable about the word of God so that we know what God is saying concerning us and our tomorrow
