Our lives should be lived in a way that is pleasing unto God. There were men that worked with God in the Bible whose ways were placing unto God. But among all of them none of them were able to please God just us His son Jesus Christ did. Jesus Christ was the only one who came down on Earth and lived the perfect life.
Nobody can possess half of the perfection that Jesus had. God was pleased with his son every day of His life from the day He was born till the day He left this earth. Why God was highly pleased with Jesus Christ was because His entire life was positioned to living the will of God and not His own will or the will of man.
He was fully devoted and committed to the will of God and He never deviated from it at any point in time even if they were times that it was very inconvenient for Him, but regardless He still pushed through and never stopped. Jesus Christ was very selfless, He was concerned about the good of mankind at His own
detriment. As Christians it should be our heart cry to be like Christ so that we can be able to live the kind of lifestyle He lived on Earth which was pleasing to God.
If we are living our lives in a way that is not pleasing unto God then we need to turn from such ways. Our duty in life is to please God and do it with the whole of our hearts. We are nothing without Him. We should be the reason why God is delighted and not the other way around.
We should be less concerned about pleasing man and more concerned about pleasing God because in him we move and have our being.
