In this part of his teaching, Bro Eli explained the only solution to the problems Humanity face on earth.
War, starvation and suffering are consequences humanity face because of sin and disobedience to God's will.
God gave us free will to make choices, but when we make mistake in making choices we always attract suffering to ourselves.
Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Sometimes, suffering can be test to our faith, or a warning to desist from evil. Suffering can strengthen our faith, help us develop patience and draw us closer to God. Therefore we should not give up our faith in God during the time of hardship, instead we should pray and trust in him.
Our God is a merciful God, he does no want us to perish that's why he is always ready to forgive us our sins whenever we call upon him in repentance. What we are now reaping is the fruit of almost all humanity, we were separated from him even from the days of our forefathers, sometimes we suffer not only because of the sins we committed, but the sin committed by our forefathers.
But God in his mercy is ready to forgive us if we repent and follow his teachings.
Bro Eli reminds us that the only solution to war, starvation and suffering according to the scripture, is to return to God in prayer, repentance and righteousness. Those challenges cannot be ended by human strength or weapons, the only solution is obeying God's will and living a righteous life.
