If we want to go to heaven and if we want to be sure that we want to heaven, we have to pass through the only way to salvation which is our Lord and saviour Jesus.
To be sure if we are going to heaven when we die, the starting point starts here on earth. We will know if we are going to heaven by our ways of life or going to hell to spend eternity with Satan. There are two ways which the lord has set before us, the way of life or the way of death. Way of blessings or way of curses. We have a free choice to choose from this.
To know that we are going to heaven, the answer is we have to go to the father which is in heaven and doing this, we have to go through Jesus Christ first because he's the way, the truth and the life and no man goes to God the father except by Jesus Christ.
After you receive Christ as your lord and saviour, you have to be rooted in him and walk in him, you have to be established him his faith has you have been taught the teachings of lord Jesus Christ. It is the teaching of Christ that we have to follow everyday and this is one of the ways that we will end up with him.
Following Christ everyday, wherever Christ directs you, you have to follow him and serve him because where Christ is there also is his servant and who so ever serve him, God will honour such person. If you are going to follow Christ and obey all his doings, you are going to heaven but if you disobey, you are going to hell. That is what the Bible says.
