Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.
Why Do People Die?
Life on earth is temporary, and every one of us is journeying toward the same destination: death. This truth is undeniable. The Bible, especially through the writings of Apostle Paul, reminds us that this world is not our permanent home. No matter who we are or what we possess, our earthly life will eventually come to an end. Everything we see, enjoy, and hold onto today will fade away one day. Understanding this reality should inspire us to live wisely and responsibly before God.
Death teaches us an important lesson: we must live with accountability. The life we are living now is not ours to waste. In everything we say, do, and pursue, we will give an account before God. Whether in our actions, decisions, or in our service to God, nothing goes unnoticed. We must always remember that our time here is being recorded, and our choices carry eternal consequences.
According to the book of Act 17:31 says. “Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
Another powerful lesson from the certainty of death is humility. Our life does not belong to us. God owns it. We do not control when we will die, nor do we choose the day our life will end. People alive today may not see the next sunrise, and those who will die tomorrow are unaware of it today. This truth shows that we are not in charge of our lives or our time on earth. God alone decides the beginning and the end.
Death also reminds us that we have a divine appointment scheduled by God. Since we must one day stand before Him, it would be foolish to live carelessly or without discipline. Knowing that we will face God, we should strive to live in obedience to His teachings, honoring Him with our conduct and walking in His will every day.
