Forgiving one another in love. Forbearing with one another and forgiving one another in love. That is what the Bible teaches us to do. The Bible teaches us to forgive those who offend us in love. We are not to hold any offense against anyone. We must express love towards others by forgiving them when they offend us. We should not hold anything against anyone. Love does not keep any score of wrong. Love forgives everything thing. Through love we can forbear with one another. We are to endure with others rather than picking offense against them. There is no good that we will gain when we keep offenses.
Keeping offenses in our hearts will make us to be sick. When we forgive those who offend us when ourselves will receive healing in our hearts. A heart that is full of offenses will not be able to please God. When we refuse to forgive, we are doing ourselves more harm than good. So, for our own health, let us always forgive others.
We should not forget that God has told us that if we do not forgive others our Lord Jesus Christ will not forgive us. Let us ensure that we have cleared our way before the Lord by forgiving those who have offended us.
