TOPIC REVIEW:WHAT MAKES TRUE DISCIPLE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (PART 1)

In this teaching review what makes one a true disciples of Jesus Christ by Brother Eli I will first say that a disciple is someone who does and follows obediently to the commands of his master now when we follow all the teachings of Christ and also do them obediently we become a true disciple of Christ Jesus and that is what is only expected of us just following his teaching we should also understand the difference between hearing his teachings and following his teachings Hearing his teachings alone without following them won't make us a true disciple to follow means to do everything he has commanded from Matthew 28:19-20 we were meant to know that for us to be qualified as disciples of Christ first we ourself must be baptized so that we can be able to baptize others and also teaching them the gospel of Christ in that way we are building more disciples of Christ

Second to qualify as the disciple of Christ we must observe to do all things whatsoever he has commanded and we must do all these without complains or murmuring we must do them whole heartedly and in Act of the apostles 11:19 the disciples of Christ were first called Christians in Antioch because they were preaching the teachings of Christ and they were also behaving like Christ and when the people of Antioch saw the evidence of Christ in them they believed that truly this men were disciples of Christ so for us to be called true disciples of Christ we must be people who follow the teaching of Christ and he must be evident in our lifestyle for people to see

A disciple of Christ is expected to follow all the teachings of Christ a disciple is an obedient learner and not just learning but also putting to practice what he learnt from his master if we learn only without putting to work or practice we become hypocrites and not disciples Because If We Do Not Do All The Teachings Of Christ We Are Not Worthy To Be Called The Disciples Of Christ That Is The Only Criteria Of Becoming A True Worthy Disciple Of Our Lord Jesus Christ

I will love to add that we can only know all the teachings of the Christ through the study of the word of God the bible said we should study to show ourselves approved it is in the study of the word of God that we can know what is expected of us as true disciples of Christ
