The disciples were those whom the Master chose to be with him. The Bible says that Jesus chose 12 men to be with him when he started his ministry. A disciple will certainly spend some time with his master so that he will be acquainted with the teachings and instructions of the master. The first batch of Jesus’ disciples were chosen by him to be with him.
When we spend time with Jesus, we will get to know about him and to be acquainted with what his doctrines are. When we spend time with Jesus we will understand his ways. When we spend time with Jesus we will get to know his words better. A true is one who has spent time with the master.
To spend time with Jesus we must have regular fellowship with Him. We must study His words everyday. We must listen to his words everyday. We must obey His word completely. To be with Jesus, we must give him our love in totality. We must honour him and do only what pleases. To be true disciples who are able to obey all of Jesus commandments, we must be with him and spend time with him.
