The whole world lies in wickedness. That is what the Bible says. This implies that there is evil in the world everywhere. There is corruption in the systems of the world. There is sin running through all our veins as humans. Even young ones exhibit this trait of sinfulness. Truly, the whole world lies in wickedness.
When we turn to God, God wants us to live in righteousness not in sin. We are to obey the commandments of God and follow His words. We can't continue to live our lives according to the corrupt nature of the world. We must live for God and do what is righteous. We have to submit ourselves unto the leading of God.
We cannot do the will of God by ourselves. The nature of sin which we inherited from our parents is not in agreement with the nature of the spirit of God. The Bible says that the flesh war against our spirit. The flesh always attempt to hinder us from doing the will of God. This is why the Apostle Paul cried out in the Bible that another law is working on his body. That other law is the instinct of the carnal and corrupt flesh. We need the help of God to overcome the flesh. We should yield ourselves unto the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. We should read and meditate on the word of God always. The word of God will cleanse our hearts and minds from death works. To do the will of God, we need the help of God himself.
