When God created us, did He intend that we should suffer tribulations? Was hardship and suffering part of the good life which God created for us? The Bible says that God remarked that everything He made was very good. Can we say that the experience of hardship and suffering is in anyway part of the good things which God made for us? I think no. We can't say that what we are experiencing is the good life which God, the Father of all creation created for us.
Where did it get wrong? Where did corruption came in from? It came in with sin. When we sinned, we fell short of the glory of God. The once good creation became corrupted with evil. Now suffering and hardship has become part of our life. We pass through life daily with suffering. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us that we will definitely suffer tribulations. He also said that it will be impossible to think that they won't be offenses.
Does God allow us to be afflicted with hardship and suffering for nothing? No, there is also a reason for the suffering which we experience. Those who are sinful will suffer because of their crooked ways. God has designed it such that whatsoever we do, we will bear the consequences of it. Sometimes, God uses sufferings to purify his children. So, suffering don't just come, there is a purpose for the suffering which we pass through.
