I love my family and I hope that we will continue to live together in peace and happiness. There is no one who does not want that. Keeping ourselves together as a family is something that is very good. Family union strengthens and helps us to grow. As we live together in unity, we grow up to value, support and defend one another. There is nothing as loving as the family union.
There are families which have their members disconnected due to misunderstanding. To such families, I wish that God will restore their relationship and bring them together again in love. Many times offenses and the inability to forgive one another make family union scatter. We should in ourselves be forgiving and loving so that we will not keep offenses that are capable of scattering our homes.
The doctrines of Jesus Christ which we uphold in the church are capable of building us together in loving homes. We should live according to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We should obey the commandments of God. If we build our families upon the foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will have strong family union.
