Someone can marry if he or she loses his or her spouse. The Bible says that one is bound to his or her spouse as long as such spouse lives. There is no marriage after this world. When we shall get to heaven, we are not going to be in whatever marriage. There is no marriage in heaven. In heaven the Bible says that we shall be like the angels in heaven. The covenant of marriage only lasts as long as someone is alive. There is no offense if the spouse remarries after losing his or her partner.
There is always the need of a hand to lean on. At such times, aged parents really need to have someone that they can relax on. They are not going to be fine if they stay lonely. Let the people who have lost their spouses remarry if they so wish. We should not keep them under any kind of restrictions. There are several conditions where the one who has lost his or her spouse is a younger person. In such a case, it is better to remarry than to burn. Nursing lust in our hearts is dangerous to our relationship with God. So, to avoid having a lustful conscience, let the partner who has lost spouse remarry.
