The worship of God is just about worshiping only God. God is God and there is none other besides Him. The Lord God is one God. There are no two Gods. From the beginning of creations, the Lord God was known to us as the God who created the whole world. He revealed himself to Abraham as we know and called him out of his kindred to make him a great nation whom he will adopt to be his people. He has always been worshiped and adored as the Lord God Almighty. There has never been any God who had been equal with Him.
The Lord Jesus Christ appeared unto us in the New Testament and brought us the way of salvation. That is the gospel way which is preached in the churches. The church is the new family of God established by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Son is to be worship equally as the Father. It is through the Son that we get to know the Father. We have never known Him as our Father. He had always been known to us as God. But the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Son revealed the Father unto us. Let us therefore worship the Father and The Son.
