Our lives are mirrors, people are looking into it. They are evaluating our actions as the believers in Jesus Christ. We should be mindful that we are not doing anything sinful or anything that feel will cause people to blame the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are certain actions that other people can carry out and they won't be blamed but if someone who is a christian ventures into such, the whole world will talk about it. So, understanding such things like that, we who are the believers in Jesus Christ should keep ourselves from the whatever has offense. The Bible has warned that we should give no offense in all things so that the ministry will not be blamed.
As intending couples, we should not allow our closeness to each other to be questionable. It is going to raise questions if two people who are not married spend the night together, people will raise suspicions about them. So, we should try to avoid to much closeness. It is not good to always sleep together. We know that when two people of opposite sex sleep together, there are likely to commit fornication. The Bible admonishes us to flee fornication and every youthful lust. Taking precautions in all that we do is wise. Don't allow you actions to make others blaspheme the name of Christ.
