Welcome to another of my reviews of Bro Eli's message on men's thoughts and ability being limited before God.

I must say, this teaching is another eye-opener, and before listening to the message, when I first saw the title, I thought it was going to be about how man has a vast capacity to do or think anything. However, this teaching corrected my thoughts and gave me a new perspective.
The first example given was about man's eyes and how limited our sight is, which was compared to the eyes of a duck. Man's eyes have big limitations, even though we appear to be smart. There are other animals whose eyesight is more sensitive than ours, especially the duck, which was used as an example in the teaching. This shows that man has limitations. We can only see certain things and specific colors, while the eyes of a duck can see things that we cannot perceive with our natural eyes, such as infrared. This shows clearly that man has limitations, and it is not just a coincidence; rather, it is exactly how God wants it to be. He could have given us that ability too, but He chose not to.
This same thing applies to our strength. We also have limitations regarding what we can do physically, and even though God could have given us superhuman powers, He deliberately chose to limit us in the things we can accomplish with our natural strength.
From the teaching, one of the things—if not the only thing—that God has given us the freedom and ability to explore as far as we can is our thoughts.
Romans 12:3: "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."
This Bible verse points out that man has the ability to think far, beyond what he can physically do, but we are advised to be sober in our thoughts. This means we should curtail them, think within God's word, and keep our thoughts simple. It also means that, as children of God, we are not allowed to think whatever we want, but rather, we should guide our thoughts according to His will.
Thanks!
