The family consists of parents raising their children, bringing them in their lives and leading them with love. How do we know this is truly remarkable in the midst of all this unimaginable suffering that has been happening?
This can cause agony which still shows deep concern for our elderly family. So God ensure that we are loved and being taken care of, even his disciples, beloved disciples.
Even Jesus said toJohn, Behold your mother. For that moment even John had to take Mary into his home and cared for him like his own mother. By this time it was just believed that Joseph, Mary's husband, was dead and not pure. Even in tradition and in church that Mary was taken care of by God.
This is a very important moment for us. We live with John in Jerusalem for about years. Others can suggest that later live where John is. What is the most important lesson here about life and death that Jesus
demonstrated? That he valued relationship with families and others.
Today many people struggle because they do not have support and they have been neglected. We see families where fathers carry out physical abuse and mothers do not respect or submit to their father. This can be
misleading. Our home should be a place where we practice peace and not violence.
