God is not pleased as much as his son, Jesus Christ.
The last time that Jesus was martyred on earth, like anyone else, he cried out completely of his fight with that alteration. God has given us a directive as Christians,
we should live our lives here on earth.
Jesus forsook his personal gifts and desires
so that he can please God. Our sacrifice, his pleasure, even down to when he walked on the cross. And even the cross was a very shameful way to be persecuted.
Jesus, even in all his power and authority,
would have prevented this from even happening. God had the capability of saving himself, but for the sake of pleasing God and fulfilling scripture, he chose to die for one of the most crimes, so that God in heaven would be glorified.
Nothing could have pleased God more than this. In which Christ lived his life on earth, during his time, Jesus was to be baptized by John, and in the gospel, it came in the manner of the dove.
John, that person in that Bible, was about to be baptized, and he was very pleased. So this was virtually impossible to please God, the same way Christ did, but that does not mean that you cannot do your best in trying to honor and respect him and reverence him.
