Prayers is the key for our life’s progress and journey. Without prayers, we will not develop the culture and habit of depending on God as our Creator and provider. We should not at anytime feel that we are sufficient of ourselves to account anything according to ourselves. The sufficiency that we carry is of God. We are nothing of our own. We belong to God. We can do nothing of our own, we can only receive help from God. So, praying to God for help is what we should do always.
God does not answer everything that is offered to Him in the name of prayers. He receives only the prayers of the righteous. We must build ourselves on righteousness. We must adhere to the righteous standard of God if we want God to answer us. We are not going to receive anything from God if we come before Him with iniquity in our hearts. The Bible says that God cannot behold iniquity.
We are also taught in the Word of God that only praying will not be productive. We are taught to have faith and trust God. We are taught to believe in God whenever we are coming to Him. We should not depend on our own ability. We should depend on the ability of God. Without faith, it is impossible to receive anything from God. God cannot be pleased without faith. We should put our faith in God when we pray and believe that we are going to receive the things that we are asking from Him.
