The Lord God was pleased with Abraham because he was going to command his children after him to follow and serve the Lord. When God said this about Abraham, he has not gotten Isaac yet. But God testified about him that He (God) was sure that when the children will finally come, He will command them after him to serve the Lord and to keep His commandments. This should be what God should see from all of us (especially the parents). We should be able to train our children to follow the commandments of God.
The commandments of God is what will make us and our children to keep along in love. God's word teaches us to love and cherish one another. When we practice this principle of love and respect for one another, we will be able to keep our family together. Living together requires love. No two people can successfully live together without love. Let us imbibe this doctrine and also teach our family members to do the same. With all the ability that we have, we should try to instill the culture of true love into our family and cause them to grow that way.
Any people who do not agree together will not stand together. Peanut always said that together we stand but divided we fall. Jesus Christ taught us that any kingdom that is divided against itself will not stand. It is when we walk together that we can grow together. Let us learn from the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us what is the right thing to do.
