What do you think in times like these? When we are hearing of wars and rumours of wars, what can we think of? What should be at the back of our minds in midst of a world so chaotic like this? I think we should remember that our Lord Jesus promised us that he went to prepare a place for us in heaven. He said that when he is done, He will come and take us to be where He is. There is a home which we are anticipating. It is a home where we will be free from everything that hurts. It is a home where there will not be any wars. We won't have to be afraid of terrorists. It will be a perfect place.
Heaven is the expected abode of the righteous. We are trusting God that those who are doing the will of God will be in this precious home of righteousness. It is the home of righteousness because the righteous Father lives there. He is so holy that he does not behold iniquity in anyway. The Bible says that the eyes of the Lord are so holy to behold iniquity. So heaven is a place of righteousness. It will only harbor the righteous.
Heavenly home of our Father is a beautiful place. There is nothing ugly about it. I earnestly desire to be there. I am hoping to see you there. There is no sin in heaven. When Lucifer bred sin, he was cast out. We should be holy and keep the commandments of God if we want to see the kingdom of God.
