What Makes A True Disciple Of Jesus Christ. My Review

in MCGI Cares Hive2 hours ago

A disciple is a student. A student is someone who sits under the tutorship of a teacher. The teacher is the master. As the disciples of Jesus Christ, we are those sitting at His feet and learning. We are not the masters. Masters are those who give instructions. We are not giving instructions to Jesus. We are those who are learning from Jesus Christ. He is our Teacher. We can recall in the word of God that God (when he introduced the Son to the apostles) said that we should obey Him. We are to obey the Master. Jesus Christ is our master. We are the students.

We must decease from the rebellious attitude which most of us possess. We do not want to submit ourselves and obey the Word of God. We cannot please God by living in disobedience to his commandments. The thing that makes us to be the true disciples of Jesus Christ is following all of his commandments.

Obeying the commandments of God is not a grievous thing. We should not make it look like we cannot obey everything that we are told in the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Partial obedience will not qualify us as true disciples. It is a total obedience to the commandments of God that will make us a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
