We are all hearing the messages of God every where in every day. We hear the teachings of God's Word from different sources on a daily basis. We go to church gatherings and we hear the teachings of the doctrines of the church. We all have Bibles and we read out of it every time. The problem is that many of us are only receiving the reading of the word of God as if we are hearing a sound without meaning.
The word of God has no meaning to our life if we do not reflect what we are hearing in our day to day activities. The teachings of the doctrines of Jesus Christ is to guide our conducts as those who believe in God. We should be guided by the word of God. If our life is not influenced by what we are hearing from the Bible, it means that we are not listening to the doctrines.
So, let us not be those who hear but do not understand. We should not be like the idol worshippers. They are like their idols who have ears but do not hear. They have eyes but they cannot see.
