The word of God is given to us so that we will be able to understand what God wants us to understand. Those who are attempting to interpret the word of God should allow the Holy Spirit to.guide them. No one should allow his or her carnal sentiments to influence the way in which he or she interpret the Bible to others. If anyone attempt to interpret the Bible wrongly, such a person will be disciplined by God. God will not hesitate to punish those who are interpreting the word of God wrongly. We are not teaching people the word of God in order to impress them. No, what we are doing is showing people what is the will of God.
Interpreting the word of God outside what the Holy Spirit teaches us is a sin. Everyone who engages in such practice should repent. We should try to run away from the wrath of God by doing the work of God according to his plan. Many of those engaging in interpreting or teaching the word of God these days are doing so just to satisfy their selfish interest. Imagine the situation where pastors or preachers are in business not because they want to help in proclaiming the word of God but because they are looking for money.
Let us be careful with whatever we are doing in the house of us. Also, those of us who are being taught should be sure that those who are teaching us are actually teaching us what is the truth in the Bible. May the Lord save our souls from wolves who are disguised in sheep clothings.
