Many are the afflictions of the righteous.
The life of the righteous is often characterized by sufferings and afflictions. The Lord Jesus Christ had told us that in the world we are going to see tribulations. There are tribulations in the world. There will always be tribulations in the world. We are troubled by the people of the world because they do not believe in our God. We are persecuted for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are maltreated because we will not compromise our stand and believe. All these things that we suffer makes our lives to be in jeopardy. This is the true picture of the world which we are living in.
We shall reign with Him.
We have hope. We are not hopeless in this world, we have hope. Our hope is a living hope. We have hope that we shall reign with God. Though we suffer many times in this world, we are not disturbed. There is hope that we shall reign with God. We shall reign with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We have hope that he is coming back to take us home. There is a living hope in us. We may be perplexed in many ways. We may suffer several afflictions, but this is our hope. As we suffer in his name sake, we shall share in His glory.
