I used to commute by mountain bike home from work after my night shifts. I knew the recycling pickup schedule and cruise through the each zone on my way home picking up on average $3 to $4 worth of aluminum cans. Free cash!

        That's awesome! Cans around here are only worth about $.01 USD so I dont make much on them but the copper wire has some decent value. That little bit pictured in my post is probably around $10 worth of free cash haha I won't be taking it to the scrap yard anytime soon though.
