Los correntinos somos seres apasionados, amamos las cosas que nos representan; incluso en ocasiones podemos parecer vanidosos cuando hablamos de nuestra cultura y las cosas que nos gustan. En muchas oportunidades les mencioné que a mis seres queridos les encanta ver a las embarcaciones pasar por el cauce del río, y que podemos pasar horas sentados esperando que el emocionante momento llegue.
We Correntinos are passionate people; we love the things that represent us. We can even seem vain at times when we talk about our culture and the things we like. I've mentioned many times that my loved ones love watching the boats pass by on the river, and that we can spend hours sitting and waiting for that exciting moment to arrive.

Esto que nos pasa como familia no solo sucede a la nuestra; esto es una pasión que sentimos los correntinos, y cada fin de semana las familias se reúnen en la ribera para ver a estos grandes barcos pasar. La verdad es que no es lo más saludable como transporte, porque si prestan atención a las imágenes, verán los "gases" que emanan del motor de estas embarcaciones, pero en ese momento estamos tan emocionados con lo que vemos, que no reparamos estos daños.
This isn't just happening to our family; it's a passion we Corrientes residents share, and every weekend families gather on the riverbank to watch these large boats go by. The truth is, it's not the healthiest mode of transportation, because if you look closely at the pictures, you'll see the exhaust fumes coming from the engines of these vessels, but at that moment we're so excited by what we see that we don't notice the damage.
