Finally I dare to contribute some stuff to the current week #245 of CCC's Street Art Contest' run by @digi-me. Since March I have a new job, and after my office hours I slowly explore the neightbouring locations - streets, yards, houses. One of the days brought me a good trophey I enjoyed myself pretty much: three yards located close to each other, had cool graffities.
The first one was a little tech support house, decorated with this symbol: 'Man's trying'. Might be inspiring to start a day passing by this art? Tell me what do you think?
In the next yard right 30 meters away, I found another small house -- all painted over with cool text graffiti.
All sides were painted from upside to down side, except maybe of its roof...
What was it?
It did not look exactly like a graffiti... I'd say it is more: maybe, some avantgarde typographical poem? I wish I knew what it was, but, having no necessary background / context, just looking at the piece of art one cant deduce for sure. Maybe I should come back here and take more shots with a better lighting. #ilikeitalot.
And the third intresting object was a brick garage wall ... all painted over with a cool 'black noire style' graffiti entitled 'Peace'. The space was packed with cars, fence... I could not take pics using my telephoto lens and had to come back later with a wider-angle lens. I love this piece of art and the way it is aging... pure monochrome, probably some gangsters and their ladies, some black noire characters are depicted here? (tommy guns and hand bags hint at that). Anyway - the image leaves a lot to your imagination, which is a great thing for art, the way it should be.
This is three separate shots I tried to combine into one hi-res panorama.
The hardest part for me was to choose which picture I should send to the challenge. I really cant choose one, as I like them all...
Now, this was all for the current week. See you next time!
