Sometimes when you remember some people who have affected you positively and they are no more, it gives you joy and you don't want to stop thinking about that person.
Friends if you have not come to this community before, this is Throw back Thursday. Every week I anticipate the coming of this day so that I can share my beautiful story with the house. I love only memorable stories that will help keep us happy all the time. It is not easy to let go some good memories and the best way is to save it here so that we can always go back to check when we want to.
For today I want to share a memorable event that took place last year August. One of my sisters in the Lord lost her father to a brief illness, though he is a little bit old, but it was not expected to happen as at when it did. Because of the closeness we have I have to follow her home for the burial. This is not like the usual burial that I have always attended. This was a celebration of life, because people like him are rear. He was a very good man, this was the testimony of everyone that came and his family also made sure to keep his legacy. A lot of people were in attendance because of the kind of person that he is.
The family came out in a very beautiful attire that made the event a special one. This is the kind of burial that people did not cry as expected, but it was one that everyone was happy and we had a good celebration together. All his children came and also his son's and daughter's inlaws came. I saw how their community celebrate a great person who have lived a great life and it gave me joy that I witnessed the whole event. We started from the house and moved to the church where the word of God was preached and we also had testimonies about the man in question. From church we came back to the house again for the final ceremony. The priest and other clergy men were there to witness everything. All glory to God that at the end we had a great time together with the family.
