When I started to recap everything I did in September, WOW! It was really busy in every way; no wonder I ended up so tired 😊.
Cuando inicié a recapitular todo lo que hice en mi septiembre ¡GUAO! Estuvo bien movido en todos los aspectos; con razón terminé tan cansada 😊.
The month began with preparations for purchasing materials to finish one of the projects we set ourselves for 2025 in my home: completing the gate in the garden. I had already bought some materials, but we took advantage of some extra money we received and used it to purchase the various materials and pay for the labor. You always need some extra money, because the workers never charge us what is fair. This has brought dust, dirt, and debris, but also happiness because achieving goals keeps us active 😉. I won't say any more, because I'll leave that to the relevant community.
We also started to fix up the inside by laying the floor to see if it works as well as in the photos I see on social media, and organizing the laundry room space, with a view to having a nicer space that is more in line with what I like visually.
El mes inició con los preparativos de la compra de materiales para terminar uno de los proyectos que nos planteamos este 2025 en mi hogar: la culminación del portón en el jardín. Yo había comprado unos materiales, pero aprovechamos un dinero extra que recibimos y fue destinado tanto para la compra de los distintos materiales, como la mano de obra. Siempre se necesita algún dinero extra, porque jamás es lo justo que nos piden los obreros. Esto ha traído polvo, tierra, escombros, pero felicidad porque lograr metas, nos pone activos 😉. No contaré más, porque le dejo para la comunidad correspondiente. Asimismo, comenzamos a arreglar adentro colocando el piso para ver si funciona tal cual como en las fotos que veo en las redes y a organizar el espacio del lavandero, en miras de tener un espacio más bonito y acorde con lo que visualmente me gusta.
At the same time, September is a crazy month of celebrations in my city for the feast of the Virgin of the Valley. My mother and I are very devout, so this year we also celebrated her feast day. For the occasion, my mother donated the dress and I made the rosary. Everything turned out beautifully, the neighbors who attended enjoyed themselves, and everything went as planned. On the morning of the 8th, I was able to attend the procession of the image by the sea for the first time, and it was very emotional for me.
A la par, en septiembre es una locura de fiestas en mi ciudad por la celebración de la Virgen del Valle. Mi madre y yo somos muy devotas, por lo que este año también celebramos su fiesta. Para la ocasión, mi madre donó el vestido y yo hice el rosario. Todo quedó muy bonito, los vecinos asistentes disfrutaron y todo se dio como se planificó. En la mañana del 8, pude acudir por primera vez al paseo de la imagen por el mar, y fue muy emotivo para mí.
Speaking of the sea, I resumed my habit of going to the beach every Saturday to do my neck exercises and enjoy being in one of my favorite places 💙. I don't see it as therapy, but rather as a place and time for myself. I noticed that there were a lot of people there. I think some are still on vacation, enjoying their last few days before going back to school. Good for them!
Y hablando del mar, retomé mis actividades de ir a la playa todos los sábados para hacer mis ejercicios de la cervical y aprovechar de estar en uno de mis lugares favoritos 💙, por lo que no lo veo como una terapia sino como un lugar y momento para mí. Noté que había mucha gente, pienso que todavía algunos siguen de vacaciones, disfrutando de los últimos días antes de volver a clases ¡Bien por ellos!
As the days went by, it was the birthday of one of our colleagues at the office, who really likes to celebrate her birthday. It coincided with that same day of celebration, so we held our usual gathering to accompany her in that festive moment. The cake was beautiful, and we are already preparing for my birthday, which is in November, because it coincides with the end of the department's work activities, so we are doing the end-of-year celebration all at once.
Avanzando los días, nos llegó el cumpleaños de una de las compañeras de la oficina, que sí le gusta celebrar su cumpleaños. Coincidió con ese mismo día de celebración, así que hicimos nuestra acostumbrada reunión para acompañarla en ese momento festivo. La torta quedó hermosa, y ya no estamos preparando para mi cumpleaños, que es en noviembre, porque coincide con el término de las actividades laborales del departamento, por lo que hacemos la despedida de año de una vez.
And as we take it step by step, to get to November, we must continue moving through the months, so my classes don't stop; we are working on the fly and currently adding a new unit on technical reports, which is in high demand by companies, so we continue planning, teaching, sharing, and making connections that will serve later for personal and professional growth. “Everything works out for the best,” and with that promise, I offer my services with quality, because I like to be treated the same way.
Y como vamos paso a paso, para que llegue noviembre, debemos seguir transitando los meses, así que mis clases no se detienen; estamos trabajando sobre la marcha y actualmente agregamos una nueva unidad de Informes técnicos, que es muy solicitada por las empresas, así que seguimos proyectando, enseñando, compartiendo y haciendo conexiones que servirán más adelante para crecimiento personal y profesional. "Todo obra para bien" y en esa promesa, ofrezco mis servicios con calidad, porque me gustan que me atiendan de igual manera.
But, since I'm not always the teacher, I think one of the roles I've learned to value and evaluate myself in is as a student. Besides, I love learning; it's one of my hobbies, especially with all the changes and updates that are happening in the field of teaching methods.
This time, I learned about conflict resolution. I did it online (I live in Barcelona and learned with staff from Lara state), but the teaching was just as good as in person. The teachers were well prepared, the material was very comprehensive, and I took the learning strategies for future classes so I could apply them with my students. I had to pick up my certificate at the ombudsman's office, where I can say that the service was prompt and efficient. That's the important thing about studying with professionals who are committed to teaching.
Pero, como no todo es ser yo la profesora, creo que uno de los roles que he aprendido a valorar y autoevaluarme es como estudiante. Además, que me fascina aprender, es uno de mis hobbies y más con todos los cambios y actualizaciones que se hacen en el ámbito de los medios de enseñanza.
En esta oportunidad, aprendí de Resolución de conflictos. Lo hice vía online (yo vivo en Barcelona y aprendí con un personal del estado Lara), pero la enseñanza fue tan igual como presencial; Bien preparados los profesores, el material muy completo y las estrategias de aprendizaje las tomé para clases posteriores, poder aplicarlas con mis estudiantes. Me tocó retirar el certificado en la sede de la defensoría, donde puedo decir que la atención fue oportuna y rápida. Eso es lo importante de estudiar con personas profesionales y comprometidas con la enseñanza 💯.
I almost forgot! There have been so many emotions and something different every day that I hadn't told you that Anthuan, my neighbor and friend's son, was born. His arrival filled us with joy, but we couldn't see him right after he was born because he had to undergo routine tests. A few days later, I held him in my arms as he slept, and I was able to admire the miracle of life. Sometimes I feel like having one, but then I remember that I like to party and I change my mind 🤣 Congratulations to them, and may his mother have the wisdom to guide him 😇.
¡Se me olvidaba! Es que han sido tantas emociones y cada día algo distinto, que no les había dicho que nació Anthuan, el hijo de mi vecina y amiga. Su llegada nos llenó de alegría, pero no pudimos verlo desde el nacimiento porque hubo exámenes de rutina. A los días, fue cuando lo cargué y dormido en mis brazos, pude admirar el milagro de la vida. A veces me provoca tener uno, pero después me acuerdo de que me gusta la fiesta y se me quita 🤣 ¡Enhorabuena por ellos!, y que su madre tenga mucha sabiduría para guiarlo 😇.
And hoping that I haven't forgotten anything about those important moments I experienced in September, I hope that my October continues to be filled with the realization of dreams, setting new goals, and being able to take care of some things I have pending, since the end of the year is approaching and I must hurry because, otherwise, everything will be left for 2026 🤣.
Y esperando que no se me haya olvidado algo de esos momentos importantes que viví en septiembre, espero que mi octubre siga cargado de concreción de sueños, de trazar nuevas metas y poder ocuparme de algunas cosas que tengo pendiente, ya que se acerca la finalización del año y debo apurarme porque, sino, todo queda para el 2026 🤣.
