Saludos y bendiciones, mi gente bella, un gusto visitarlos en este día. Por estos lados han sido de incertidumbre y zozobra, viendo tantas cosas que han pasado en el país, que uno se siente tan agobiado. La verdad, no es fácil; no me imagino cómo se sienten los que están viviendo en carne propia tanto dolor y angustia.
Es por eso que es preciso buscar maneras para despejar la mente, y ayer nos fuimos a dar una vuelta por la cinta costera de Cumaná, a la cual le han hecho un cariño, con algunas canchas deportivas y desde donde se pueden ver unos hermosos atardeceres.
Justo cuando íbamos al sitio, el sol ya estaba cayendo; se veía tan hermoso que hice que Arístides se estacionara para poder contemplarlo y poder tomarle unas fotos a mis princesas, porque no nos iba a dar tiempo llegar a donde íbamos.
No sé cómo en unos instantes el sol se pierde en el horizonte; se veía grandioso, majestuoso. Tomé las fotos y me quedé anodada viéndolo y agradeciendo a Dios por permitirme salir de casa a despejar la mente y de qué manera.
Por otro lado, mis princesas se pusieron sus camisas de sus equipos favoritos del mundial; desde que se las compré casi no se las han puesto y, aprovechando que justo van invictos, se la pusieron y miren qué lindos paisajes en donde las lucieron.
La brisa estaba sabrosa, abrazadora, espectacular para caminar y recorrer el lugar mientras conversábamos y admirábamos el paisaje. Además, las niñas aprovecharon para hacer unas carreras y ejercitarse un poco; ya están por retomar sus entrenamientos de atletismo y básquet después de unos días libres por el duelo nacional.
El lugar tenía algo de gente, la mayoría ejercitándose. Se ve bien chévere; estos días vamos otra vez para salir de la rutina de la casa y despejar la mente y mi servicial de tanto trabajo en la oficina y en casa.

A Beautiful Sunset
Greetings and blessings, my beautiful friends—it’s a pleasure to visit you today. Things around here have been filled with uncertainty and anxiety; seeing everything that’s happened in the country makes one feel so overwhelmed. Honestly, it’s not easy; I can’t imagine how those who are experiencing so much pain and anguish firsthand must feel.
That’s why it’s important to find ways to clear your mind, and yesterday we went for a drive along the Cumaná coastal strip, which has been beautifully maintained, with some sports fields and a view of some gorgeous sunsets.
Just as we were heading there, the sun was already setting; it looked so beautiful that I had Arístides pull over so I could watch it and take some photos of my princesses, because we wouldn’t have had time to get to where we were going.
I don’t know how, in just a few moments, the sun disappeared over the horizon; it looked magnificent, majestic. I took the photos and stood there in awe, watching it and thanking God for letting me get out of the house to clear my mind—and what a way to do it.
On the other hand, my princesses put on their shirts from their favorite World Cup teams; since I bought them, they’ve hardly ever worn them, and, taking advantage of the fact that their teams are currently undefeated, they put them on—and look at the beautiful scenery where they showed them off.
The breeze was refreshing, warm, and perfect for walking and exploring the area while we chatted and admired the scenery. Plus, the girls took the chance to have a few races and get a little exercise; they’re about to resume their track and field and basketball training after a few days off for the national mourning period.
The place was somewhat crowded, with most people exercising. It looks really cool; we’re going back there soon to break out of the routine at home, clear our minds, and give me a break from all the work at the office and at home.
