I was out and about this weekend, visiting a very special place in Valencia called Ping 5. I was in the middle of making some important decisions, such as buying an apartment, so I decided to treat myself to a moment of rest, celebration, and flavor, and the best way to do that is by eating ice cream.
Ping 5, a recreational space in Valencia, near the Carabobo soccer stadium, was very difficult to park at because it coincided with a Carabobo soccer game. However, we managed to combine the best of entertainment with the pleasure of sweet and creamy ice cream.
It was there, amid laughter, lights, and the vibrant sound of falling pins, that I experienced an afternoon that became a symbol of happiness, relaxation, and gratitude to my family, as I was feeling somewhat tense because it was very difficult for me to find an apartment that met my expectations.
Ping 5 is not just a place to go bowling, which wasn't my intention this time, but also a special place to enjoy delicious food. The ice cream display case is an irresistible invitation: vibrant colors, creamy textures, aromas that awaken memories. Intense chocolate, delicate strawberry, dulce de leche with golden streaks, smooth pistachio, each one seemed to compete to be the chosen one, but they only let you try three or four, among many eye-catching names.
And the best part: they let you try flavors before deciding. That courtesy is very important because it allows you to make up your mind, since at that moment it's difficult to choose just one. I tried a few enthusiastically, with a small spoon that allows you to get a taste of the flavor. The chocolate, deep and enveloping, won me over. I ordered it in a waffle cone because there is something special about finishing the ice cream with that sweet crunch of the cookie, like a perfect ending, which I am sure would cheer me up in such difficult times.
As I savored each bite, between bowling games and conversations with my family members about the big purchase we were going to make, I felt how the ice cream cheered me up in these times of sadness. It was like adding color to life, a total celebration, a reward for not giving up, since it is a brave decision to dare to buy nowadays. The chocolate ice cream comforted me, made me feel good, as if each spoonful said, "I'm going to make it, so cheer up and be brave."
Ping 5 was more than just an outing. It was a space where flavor became comfort and joy, ice cream became a happy note, and the afternoon became a testimony of faith, because I didn't give up and enjoyed myself immensely. Celebrating can also be simple and tasty. It was something spontaneous that filled me with satisfaction.

Estaba de paseo este fin de semana, por un lugar muy especial de Valencia, llamado Ping 5, me encontraba en medio de decisiones importantes, como la compra de un apartamento, decidí regalarme un momento de descanso, celebración y sabor, y la mejor manera de hacerlo es comiendo helados.
El Ping 5, un espacio recreativo en Valencia, cerca del estadio de futbol en Carabobo, fue nuy dificil estacionarnos porque coincidio con un partido de Fútbol Carabobo. Sin embargo, se logro combina lo mejor del entretenimiento, con el placer de lo dulce y cremoso de un rico helado.
Fue allí, entre risas, luces y el sonido vibrante de los bolos cayendo, viví una tarde que se convirtió en símbolo de felicidad, relax y gratitud a mi familia, pues me encontraba algo tensa, ya que me era muy dificil conseguir un apartamento que cubriera mis expectativas.
Ping 5 no es solo un rincón para jugar bowling, esta vez no iba a eso, sino también un lugar especial de sabor. La vitrina de helados es una invitación irresistible: colores vibrantes, texturas cremosas, aromas que despiertan memorias. Chocolate intenso, fresa delicada, dulce de leche con vetas doradas, pistacho suave, cada uno parecía competir por ser el elegido, sin embargo solo te permiten probar tres o cuatro, entre nombres muchos nombres llamativos.
Y lo mejor: te permiten probar sabores antes de decidir. Esa cortesía, es muy importante ya que te permite decidirte, es que en ese momento es dificil escoger solo uno, probe algunos con entusiasmo, con una pequeña cucharita que te permite tener un preambulo de sabor. El chocolate, profundo y envolvente, me conquistó. Lo pedí en barquilla, porque hay algo especial en terminar el helado con ese crujido dulce de la galleta, como un cierre perfecto, con lo cual estoy segura me animaría en tan dificiles momentos.
Mientras saboreaba cada bocado, entre partidas de bowling y conversaciones con los integrantes de mi familia, con respecto a la gran compra que ibamos hacer, sentí cómo el helado se me alegraba en estos tiempos de tristeza, es como darle color a la vida, fue una total celebración, de gratificación para no rendirme, ya que es una decisión valiente, atreverse a comprar hoy en día. El helado de chocolate me reconfortó, me hizo sentir bien, como si cada cucharada dijera: “lo voy a lograr, asi que animate y sé valiente”.
Ping 5 fue más que una salida. Fue un espacio donde el sabor se volvió consuelo y alegria, el helado se volvió una nota alegre, y la tarde se transformó en testimonio de fe, ya que no ne rindo y disfrute mucho. Celebrar también puede ser sencillo, sabroso, fue algo espontáneo que me lleno de satisfacción.
