Her Majesty

Didn’t expect to meet such feline majesty: so calm, so stunning, utterly regal.

At first, she stood with her back to me, staring into the grass like a predator, clearly hunting for something only she could see.

I watched her for a couple of minutes. Eventually, she turned slowly, with quiet dignity… sat down, and closed her eyes. As if to say, «Alright, go ahead, take your photo.»

Never would’ve guessed I’d photograph the most beautiful stray cat I’ve ever seen in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maybe the most unexpected encounters are still ahead.
