Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We have made it to another weekend and that means we have made it to another Caturday update!

Being a stereotype with a string...

So far this has been a pretty good day except for the fact that the rain is pouring down and everything is a little bit gloomy and cold after a week of bright and sunny days.

But the Hoomans seem happy because it means that their gardening projects are being watered, and we cats don't mind too much because the Hoomans are inside today and that means that there is more attention for us cats!

The Dad-Hooman is working on something he's calling "taxes," which seems to be causing him a lot of frustration, so we are trying to be as helpful as possible when it comes to him sorting bits of paper and other things into neat piles... such things are great to sleep on when you are supervising!

Meanwhile, the Mom-Hooman is sitting in the living room reading a book which is really nice, we just hope that she will put a fire in the fireplace, as well, so we can curl up and sleep in front of the fire. We cats really understand how to get warm, if you know what I mean.

All in all it has been a very peaceful week around here and we are happy that both Hoomans have been home.

It doesn't look like the Mom-Hooman is going to be going on a trip again anytime soon so we will have a full compliment of Hoomans on hand at all times.

In other news, Springtime seems to be doing our elderly housemate Smudge some good! We were little worried about her health for a while, but being able to sleep in the warm sun and starting to shed her thick winter coat seems to be making her feel better.

We're also quickly coming up on the time of the year where the Mom-Hooman gets out the trimmers and has to shave Smudge's winter fur off. You see, she doesn't shed most of it naturally it just keeps growing, so she needs to have a thorough grooming with a trim at least once a year.

Otherwise she does seem to be doing better and we are happy for that!

Going to refrain somewhat from commenting much on what's going on in the greater world other than to say it is very difficult to make plans when you have so much instability everywhere.

I know the Hoomans worry a lot about this "war" thing... which I think is very silly. Why on Earth would people go to war with each other?

On the other hand, I have been trying to build my little "investment" stash here on Hive and will continue to do so whether the markets are up or down — the cryptosphere is definitely very uncertain at the moment.
