I am not a big Weiss or Wit beer fan, but when I have a good one, I really enjoy it.

That's kind of how I feel about wheat beers as well. I generally don't like them and they sometimes hurt my stomach but every once in a while I buy one by accident and love it. They can have a very refreshing taste to them some.

Strange that he wasn't going to sell the beers. So did he intend to brew them for himself personally?

        For sure! On a hot summer's day after a round of golf (in my case) a wheat beer can be really good! But not my usual go-to beer.

        I have no idea really. According to the brewer, this was just a crazy experiment, and I think they got so many good reviews and feedback on the beer that they eventually decided to sell it as well! But that is a good thing in my opinion.
