Hello beer lovers!
It's been a long time since I've written in this wonderful community, and it was due to circumstances beyond my control. You'll see why I say that.
The thing is, the prolonged power outages are affecting us quite frequently in my country, and that, along with the fact that my laptop broke, has prevented me from writing as much as I'd like in this space.

I'm writing this because of a comment @bulkathos made a few days ago asking me about a specific beer brand. So today I set out to find the requested beer, try it to quench my thirst and beat the heat of these hot days, and share the experience with you all.

It was a day when I arrived at Mejunje, the cultural center in my city, and suddenly found there was no electricity. I saw the workers performing creative feats to prepare some of the products they sell, like coffee, in truly dismal conditions, over charcoal stoves.
It was very hot, so I ordered a beer from a brand called La Fría (The Cold One), a name that's rather curious because it makes you think about the obvious: that it should be really cold, as you'd expect. Fortunately, despite the lack of electricity, the bar staff still had several cold beers in the refrigerators.

La Fría is a beer brewed in Spain since 1951 and sold in significant quantities here in Cuba. It's very common to find it in various restaurants and bars.
This beer isn't the kind of product that makes you want to seek it out for its distinctive flavor. It has a taste reminiscent of malt beers, though it doesn't really stand out on the palate.

Its 4.5% alcohol content, along with a very subtle fruity aroma, its golden color and the persistent foam it possesses, make it a pleasant option to drink and try something different.

Notice how darkness envelops this bar, barely illuminated by daylight.
At first, the place was quite empty, but fortunately, some girls arrived and began to liven up the afternoon, to the point that their shared laughter was contagious.

At this point, as I write these words, I've already ordered a third beer, still perfectly chilled, living up to its name.
So, I'll take this opportunity to say goodbye, hoping you'll get to try it someday. Until then, may each of you receive a warm embrace!
