Aew year is here. As 2025 wrapped it's bedspread, it is time for me to have a throw back to all my hive activities to see areas in which I have to and need to work on. For sure, living a life free from counting of blessings can't help one to achieve more success in life. That is why, now is the appropriate time to scrutinize my past one year blockchain activities so as to pick areas in which I'm doing good, better or even best.
To make the scrutinization easier for me, Hive wrapped up made the work 100% easier and possible for me. Now, let me start from my posting consistency.
- Posting consistency: I posted about 226 posts within the past entire year starting from January to December. How do you see my consistency on that? To me, it is somehow poor. I said this base on the fact that we have about 365 days in a year, and I was able to post only 226 posts. If am to subtract 226 from 365, it will remain 139. So in a normal ground, I skipped 139 days within the whole year without posting. I believe that I need to adjust certain things so as to improve more and more in this new year.
- Comments: I made 2,600 comments for the past one year. I tried shaa since I was able to reach 10.6 comment per post which is the average. But I need to add more weight. I need to increase my comments because engagement is the key. Let me see if I can set goal of 5000 comments at the end of 2026.
Given upvotes: I distributed about 23,175 upvotes. I am not a machine. Therefore, I think I tried. But I will also see if I can increase it to 24 or 25 thousand this 2026.
Upvotes received: I succeeded in receiving 13,505 Upvotes. Thats great!
But assuming my consistency surpassed the later, I would have received higher upvotes. In that case, I will try my best to exceed my last year blockchain consistency.
Hive Governance Support: My hive governance action is great because I was able to support 13 hive proposals. But something is wrong somewhere. It is quite encouraging that I supported 13 hive proposals, the truth is that I defaulted hive witnesses. I didn't even support any. Thats too bad. I will work on that this year so as to improve because hive witnesses activity can't be overly emphasized.
- HBD Earned: I earned 251.5 hbd throughout the year. Thats impressive. But it is also somehow poor because as I checked, I found out that there are those making up to that amount per month. Ad they are humans like me. If that is so, I can earn higher this year with consistency.
- HP Earned: This is the poorest of all to me. I couldn't even earn up to 1000 HP in 12 months. Ahh, I only earned 971.5 HP.
My resolution
January 2025 was my most active and productive month on hive because I was able produce 32 posts in that month alone. While reasoning it, I said to myself, you're the one that reached this milestone on January, you can as well achieve better this year and if possible, monthly.
As for snaps and all the rest other activities, I am going to arrange my affairs so as to meetup. Nevertheless, there is one thing i must display my happiness over it. Do you know that i didn't receive any downvote throughout the ast year? Thats amazingly beautiful. Please congratulate me.
