RE: Coffee with or without sugar, with or without milk? (Mini comment contest # 9)

This is my entry in the mini contest:

I enjoy coffee in different presentations, black with sugar, it gives me the energy I need in the mornings to face my daily activities. Although the bitter is appealing, the sweetness captivates my senses. This is also because I love sweets 😅. On the other hand, for rainy afternoons or with good company I usually prefer a latte, very frothy, I like the smooth and velvety mouthfeel. An interesting aspect is that this foam helps to maintain the ideal temperature for a longer time, as it acts as an insulator. It is pleasant to feel the warmth after each sip, especially if the environment is cold.

There are many varieties of coffee, and I believe that baristas have created extraordinary combinations. I have had the opportunity to try some and among my favorites is the Cappuccino, the Mocca and the Affogato (This last one for being a dessert 😜). I consider that in the vast coffee world there is something for everyone.

Tell me if my Spiderman cup is not beautiful? 😂 It makes you want to keep drinking coffee ☕ 😃.

Oh, it was! Wish I could treat you to one. This one I ordered at GreenHaus in Lechería; it's a fancy place, pretty much exceeding my budget, but you spend a wonderful time there. Excellent coffee, sourdough bread and pastries, snacks...

The foam and its role as a heat preserver are interesting. Coffee on a rainy day is definitely delicious and comforting. It's also great to try different types of coffee; it's a way to learn and expand your palate.

It was a pleasure to participate in the mini contest. Over time new things are learned. Trying coffee varieties is great, just as you say, it helps us expand our palate with new ingredients and textures.
