Ingredients for 1 glass:
- 2 small peaches.
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats.
- 3 tablespoons powdered milk.
- Sugar to taste.
- 2 cups filtered water.
Ingredientes para 1 vaso:
- 2 melocotones pequeños.
- 2 cucharadas de avena en hojuelas.
- 3 cucharadas de leche en polvo.
- Azúcar al gusto.
- 2 tazas de agua filtrada.
Preparation // Preparación:
I peeled and washed the peaches, cut them into smaller pieces, and placed them in 2 cups of water to cook. When it began to boil, I turned the heat down low, covered the pot, and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
I added the oats and cooked for about 5 more minutes. I removed the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, until it cooled.
Pelé y lavé los melocotones, los corté en trozos más pequeños y los coloqué a cocinar en las 2 tazas de agua. Cuando comenzó a hervir, coloqué fuego bajo, tapé la olla y dejé cocinar por unos 10 minutos.
Agregué la avena, cociné por unos 5 minutos más. Retiré del fuego y dejé reposar, con su respectiva tapa, hasta que se enfrío.

I blended it together with 3 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

When the ingredients were well blended, it was ready to serve, although I like it very cold, so I put it in the refrigerator for a while.
Cuando los ingredientes se integraron bien, estuvo listo para servir, aunque a mi me gusta bien frío, así que lo coloqué un rato en el refrigerador.
I garnished it with peach slices and a little rolled oats, which also added texture to the first few sips.
A delicious and satisfying smoothie.
