Yesterday I was craving something thick, filling, and naturally sweet to drink. I remembered I had some frozen bananas, so I used those and a few other ingredients to make a delicious drink. I didn’t take any photos or anything, but today I wanted to make it again, and this time I did document the process.
Ayer tuve un antojo de beber algo viscoso, saciante y naturalmente dulce. Recordé que tenía algo de banana congelada y junto a otros ingredientes preparé una deliciosa bebida, no tomé fotos ni nada, pero hoy quise repetirla y esta vez si dejé las pruebas.
I ate the banana I had in the freezer yesterday, but I bought another one today. I sliced it into thin pieces so it would freeze faster, so I can treat myself to this delicious snack again this afternoon. I mean, bananas, yogurt, and chocolate are just an irresistible combination—join me in making it 😉
La banana que tenía en el congelador la consumí ayer, pero hoy compré nuevamente. Las rebané en partes delgadas para que se congelara más rápido y así volver a darme este delicioso gusto para la merienda de la tarde. Es que banana, yogur y chocolate es una mezcla realmente irresistible, acompáñame en su preparación 😉
Ingredients for 2 small glasses:
- 2 frozen bananas.
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt.
- 1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder.
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee.
- 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Ingredientes para 2 vasos pequeños:
- 2 bananas congeladas.
- 3/4 tazas de yogur natural.
- 1 cucharada colmada de cacao en polvo.
- 1/2 cucharadita de café soluble.
- 2 cucharaditas de azúcar.

This drink is very easy to make—as long as you have a blender, just blend all the ingredients until they’re well combined.
In this case, I blended the yogurt and banana first so that the rest of the ingredients would mix in more effectively.
La preparación de esta bebida en muy sencilla, siempre que tengamos una licuadora, simplemente mezclaremos todos los ingredientes hasta integrarlos bien.
En este caso, licué primero el yogur con la banana para que luego el resto de ingredientes se unieran a la mezcla de una manera más eficaz.

After mixing in the yogurt and banana, I added the rest of the ingredients. The touch of instant coffee really brings out the flavor of the cocoa.
At first, I thought the drink would be naturally sweet, but I added a little sugar to make it even more delicious for my taste buds 😋
Integrados el yogur y la banana, agregué el resto de ingredientes. El toque de café soluble realza el sabor del cacao.
Al principio pensé en que la bebida fuese naturalmente dulce, sin embargo, añadí un poquito de azúcar para darle un mayor gusto a mis papilas gustativas 😋

Once everything was blended, it was time to serve.
I added a little yogurt on top to give it a unique twist and sprinkled some cocoa powder over it because, for me, you can never have too much chocolate 🤤
Con todo bien licuado, llegó la hora de servir.
Agregué un poco de yogur por encima para darle un toque diferente y espolvoreé con cacao porque el chocolate para mí nunca es demasiado 🤤
