We are approaching to the end of year and that will also be the end of current season in Splinterlands. Over all the year 2024 was fantastic in terms of the developments in game, new additions and my involvement in the game. I am paying the Frontier mode almost every day. I have made good collection of foundation cards and also upgrading the cards to increase my win rate and rating in the game. The Frontier mode addition in the game is one favorite development in year 2024 and the mobile application is second one. Both are very good strategies to onboard new players and to retain the existing players. The mobile app is so easy and players can use anytime. Most of the time I am playing from my mobile only, but to be honest playing the game on big screen also has its own fun. The Land development and addition of different resources make me confused at first but now I have some better Idea to manage the different resources. Its true I ma not able to spare god time to make the things working or productive on lands what may be in the new year I am be able to make it not profitable then at least working or sustainable. I have seen players minting the land cards and that very cool. I am looking forward to see the land renting feature, as this will give me some passive income for sure.
Just to remind you if you have not completed the two new addition chapters in Campaign then you must check, two cards as reward for competing the task are waiting for you.
Moros Malik is a rare Death card and has ranges attack along with opportunity ability. Another card i.e. Lady Amara is a Epic card form the Life Splinter and has magic attack.
Game progress
I am battling in the Gold I League at present and only 20 rating points are required to unlock the next league i.e. Diamond III league. In Frontier mode I am battling in God III league (required 60 more rank points to unlock the Gold II league). With daily task completion in Frontier mode I am receiving packs along with Entries, I have not opened the packs and and 5 Wins Daily Rewards me with 3 Frontier Entries along with one Foundation Pack. Its have been a while I have not opened any Gladius case also. I am playing the Brawls also but the Fry I usually choose allows the entry level cards so upgrading the gladius cards do not benefit more in brawls but yes they are more helpful in regular play also as Gladius cards has limited usability in regular game play.
Last season was average and I earned more then 95296 Glint tokens as rewards form ranked play only and 50k for the leaderboard rewards. This season till now earned 88,681 Glints (we have two more days to play). Recently I spend Glint 250,000 Glint token to purchase the 100 Major Chests.
Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest.
From 100 ultimate chests, I received 91 cards, 94 potions, 15 energy and 7,590 merits.
Unfortunately no luck for Gold Foil cards.
