Les deseo una hermosa semana. Les traigo unas foticos de este arbusto para este #contest de #phonephotography.
La Veranera
Estas fotografías las tomé hace unos días, cuando pasaba por los parques y el cementerio. Vi este hermoso arbusto con sus hojas modificadas y coloridas que dan apariencia de flores. Una hermosa veranera, creo que es una Bougainvillea, pero no estoy muy seguro, jajaja, con los nombres de las plantas a veces me enredo un poquito.
Cuando era pequeño, siempre creí que era un árbol con flores rojizas. Después me enteré de que esas no eran sus flores, solo eran sus hojas y que su flor era muy pequeña.
Es muy común tener ese arbusto en los jardines de las fincas y pueblos. Es muy bonito y especialmente tenerlo en conjunto en su gama de colores.

The Veranera
I took these photos a few days ago when I was walking through the parks and the cemetery. I saw this beautiful bush with its modified, colorful leaves that look like flowers. A beautiful Veranera, I think it's a Bougainvillea, but I'm not quite sure, ha ha ha, I sometimes get a little confused with plant names.
When I was little, I always thought it was a tree with reddish flowers. Later I found out that those weren't its flowers, they were just its leaves, and that its flowers were very small.
It's very common to see this shrub in the gardens of farms and villages. It's very pretty, especially when you see it in all its colors together.
